Kulesa, who will serve as liaison to the Rotterdam Rules joint task force, a joint effort with the Maritime Law Association and the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) and International Law Section. The Rotterdam Rules is a convention on international multimodal transportation which, if adopted, will replace COGSA and will extend to the entire carriage, including inland legs of the contract.

These are regulations that affect all claims representatives who handle California claims for admitted and non-admitted insurers that issue policies in California and handle California claims.
