Decedent Plaintiff was admitted to Defendant facility from a nursing home in Western Pennsylvania. Plaintiff alleged that Defendant violated the standard of care in failing to provide CPR when Decedent patient was found dead in his room.
Defendant facility had a policy wherein it did not utilize heroic measures, which included CPR. Defendant facility was not required by law to perform CPR or have such a policy in place.
