James Moore joins the firm in July 2010.  He is a member of the Bar of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Mr. Moore was formerly a partner in a Philadelphia law firm where his practice focused primarily on the defense of claims against a corporate client alleging pharmacist liability, premises liability, and products liability.  For almost ten years he has also defended medical practitioners as well as institutional health care providers in cases involving medical malpractice.  Mr. Moore has also been designated as national Coordinating and Trial Counsel for a medical products and equipment distributor.

Mr. Moore serves as a court-appointed judge pro tem for the Pennsylvania Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia County. He is also a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute (DRI), and the American Society of Pharmacy Law (ASPL).

Before beginning his practice of law, Mr. Moore was a member of the Philadelphia Fire Department for fifteen years. He resigned with the rank of lieutenant, having commanded field firefighting operations units, for which he was cited for the rescue of civilians from burning buildings on two separate occasions. He also was responsible for the supervision of various staff units, including an assignment as an Assistant Fire Marshal. Recipient, Barristers Society Award Winner for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
