John concentrates his practice in general civil litigation, with an emphasis on the defense of governmental entities in torts and civil rights cases.  His experience also includes handling matters involving claims arising in general litigation, premises liability and motor vehicle accidents.

John worked as a municipal police officer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  He completed his required police training at the Pennsylvania State Police Academy located in Hershey, Pennsylvania.  He completed this program with distinction and also received the academy's top marksmanship award for his cadet class.  While working as a police officer, he performed regular patrol activities, as well as being assigned to a DUI task force.

Thereafter, John worked in the claims division for ITT Hartford Insurance Group.  While with the Hartford, he handled all lines of personal and commercial claims.  These claims also included matters involving local governments and the Pennsylvania Political Subdivision Tort Claims Act.  Prior to leaving the Hartford, he was employed as an Assistant Manager at the Hartford's claim office located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Capitalizing on his prior work experience in the insurance industry, John has made many presentations to various insurance company employees in the Harrisburg area.
