Lisa Trembly is a commercial litigator who specializes in complex commercial litigation; insurance coverage litigation relating to first-party property insurance policies; insurance fraud litigation; consumer fraud actions; and insurance defense of environmental matters under third-party liability contracts. Lisa's practice also includes handling appeals, arbitrations and mediations, and advising clients on contract and insurance coverage issues and potential consumer fraud claims and violations. She practices primarily in the state and federal courts of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania but has litigated matters in many other states, including Virginia, Florida and Colorado.
Lisa received her undergraduate degree in the Administration of Justice from Rutgers University, graduating with honors. In 1994, Lisa received her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she served as Articles Editor of the Seton Hall Legislative Journal and Co-Chairperson of the Sandra Day Medal of Honor Committee and received a Pro Bono Service Award. Lisa has authored and co-authored numerous articles published in newspapers and legal journals, and her articles have been cited by the New Jersey Supreme Court as well as in legal treatises and commentary.
Lisa was also appointed in 2011 to serve as a member of the Editorial Board for the New Jersey Lawyer Magazine.
