TTH maintains a robust Summer Associate Program designed to teach practical skills often not covered in law school. Participants gain real-world experience and develop the ability to deliver exceptional service and results—benefiting both their own professional growth and the firm’s continued excellence. The program is built on three core pillars: Education, Experience, and Entertainment.
Summer Associates begin with a two-day, in-person orientation and receive comprehensive written materials to support their learning. Throughout the summer, they attend educational events focused on practical aspects of law practice that are often underemphasized in traditional law school curricula.
Participants engage in substantive legal work and are paired with individual mentors who provide guidance and support. This hands-on approach ensures that participants develop critical legal skills in a professional setting.
Social networking events are held throughout the summer, offering Summer Associates the opportunity to build lasting relationships with their peers and firm attorneys in a more relaxed setting.
The primary goal of the Summer Associate Program is to identify, mentor, and cultivate the next generation of TTH attorneys.
Summer Associates may be considered for full-time employment based on their performance, the firm’s business needs, and final evaluations. Participation in the program does not guarantee an offer of permanent employment after graduation.
The program is co-chaired by Matthew Clayberger, a partner in the firm’s Harrisburg, PA office, and S. Joseph Cardile, a partner in the Baltimore, MD office.
