Carrie joined Thomas, Thomas & Hafer LLP in 2006, focusing her statewide practice on workers compensation defense, medical malpractice defense, contract law, and creditor rights law. She has dedicated her legal career to protecting working people and business owners from harmful litigation. Carrie has tried numerous civil court cases, representing healthcare professionals including physicians and dentists, as well as a governmental agency.
While working full time for Children and Youth after graduating from college, she earned a Master’s degree in Social Work and went to law school at night, graduating with honors.
Carrie has served as the solicitor for the Dauphin County Children and Youth Agency and has helped to fight child abuse for a large portion of her professional career. In this role, she represented the agency at trial to protect children from abusive and neglectful environments, civilly prosecute child abusers, and monitor children in the foster care system.
