John C. Lyding

John C. (Jack) Lyding is an associate in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s Fairfax, VA office, and is a member of the Firm’s general liability practice.

Jack has a civil litigation background, including personal injury matters, primarily handling cases in Northern Virginia and Washington, DC. Prior to attending law school, Jack also worked as a law clerk at a workers’ compensation defense firm in the San Francisco area.

While a student at the George Mason University School of Law, Jack was a member of the Moot Court Board. Jack has a degree in History and Economics from the University of California, Davis, with a minor in Political Science.

Outside of the office, Jack is an avid moviegoer who also enjoys stargazing, competing in trivia contests, and watching the Oakland A’s, San Francisco 49ers, and San Jose Sharks.
