John P. Dunnigan
General Liability, Product Liability, Transportation,
John is an associate in the Richmond office of Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, LLP. His practice focuses on general liability matters, including the defense of transportation liability, premises liability, products liability, and business litigation cases.
Additionally, John has assisted in authoring various publications, including Personal Injury from A to Z: Damages Pt. 1 & 2, published by National Business Institute in September 2017 and the 2019-2020 edition of the Virginia Civil Benchbook for Judges and Lawyers.
John received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Virginia Commonwealth University, and obtained his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Richmond School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board and as the Manuscripts Editor on the Richmond Public Interest Law Review.
Before entering private practice, John served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Beverly W. Snukals of the Circuit Court for the City of Richmond.
