Overview

Amanda N. Finney is an associate in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s Fairfax, VA office, where she is also a member of the firm’s general liability practice group.

Amanda attended Temple University Beasley School of Law where she graduated with her J.D. and a Certificate in Trial Advocacy and Litigation. While in law school, she was a member of the Women’s Law Caucus and the National Trial Team where she participated in competitions around the country.

During her 3L year, Amanda was awarded the Edward Ohlbaum Scholarship for outstanding contributions to the trial advocacy program and the Myron H. Deutsch Memorial Award for graduates who excelled in the trial advocacy program. Amanda also participated in the TT&H Summer Associate Program during both her 1L and 2L summers, and worked as a law clerk for TT&H throughout law school.

Prior to attending law school, Amanda graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice.

Outside of the office, Amanda enjoys cooking new recipes, watching reality TV, hiking, and cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies and Philadelphia Eagles.
