Overview

Jaymie concentrates in general civil litigation, with an emphasis on medical malpractice and general negligence cases. He has been lead counsel in many complex civil litigation matters in both federal and state court, and has tried over 100 jury cases.

While in law school at the University of Pittsburgh, Jaymie served on the law review, was President of the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and was awarded the distinction of Order of Barristers in his third year.

Jaymie has served as a faculty member in seminars sponsored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association and various insurance groups. He is also author of the Duquesne Law Review article, The Emperor’s New Clothes: A Survey of Significant Court Decisions Interpreting Pennsylvania’s Sovereign Immunity Act and its Waivers, 32 Duq. L. Rev. 1 (1993).
