Overview

Joseph M. Badami is an Associate in the Philadelphia office of Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, where he is a member of the General Liability practice group. As a member of the firm’s general liability practice group, Joseph works on cases spanning a wide variety of subject matters, ranging from premises liability and motor vehicle accidents to cases involving complex cyber security incidents.

Joseph joined Thomas, Thomas & Hafer as a Law Clerk in June 2024 and continued working with the firm throughout his final year of law school. Joseph returned to the firm as an Associate upon admission to the Pennsylvania bar.

Joseph is a graduate of Rutgers Law School. While in law school, Joseph served as a Commentaries Editor for the Rutgers University Law Review and was among a handful of students selected for publication. Joseph also worked in the New Jersey Transit Compliance and Ethics Department during his second year of law school, where he assisted with the agency’s rulemaking process under the New Jersey Administrative Procedure Act and internal investigation of employee claims under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination.

Prior to attending law school, Joseph graduated from Rutgers University – New Brunswick with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics. Joseph also holds an Associate’s degree from Ocean County College in Toms River, New Jersey.
