Overview

Mark J. Powell is one of TTH’s three managing partners.  Mark’s practice focuses on litigation of workers’ compensation matters on behalf of employers and insurers across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a defense attorney, Mark has successfully litigated cases involving a range of matters from routine injury claims to complex occupational disease and occupational exposure claims. He has litigated claims before workers’ compensation judges, the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.

Born in Steubenville, Ohio, Mark earned both his undergraduate and law degrees at West Virginia University. While at the West Virginia University College of Law, Mark participated in numerous trial competitions.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, playing basketball and rooting for the West Virginia University Mountaineers.
