Oliver M. Bather is a partner in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s New York, NY office, and concentrates his practice on workers’ compensation and general liability defense in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.  Oliver has been practicing law for 23+ years, during which he has had the unique opportunity to serve as Associate General Counsel for a worldwide organization, and has also gained expertise in workers’ compensation, premises liability, auto liability, and general liability, from the claims stage into the litigation stage. Oliver is also a fluent Spanish speaker.

Oliver graduated cum laude from Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he was the recipient of the Board of Governors Scholarship, before obtaining his Juris Doctor from University of Dayton School of Law. He is licensed to practice in the States of New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, United States District Court, Middle District of Pennsylvania, and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey.

Oliver lives with his wife, Tania, and dog, Chester, in Salt Point, New York.
