Overview

Rebecca Sember Izsak joined the firm as a Partner in April 2015. As a trial lawyer, she concentrates her practice in the defense of large to mid-size retailers, restaurants and hospitality organizations in all area of liability, including premises liability, premises security, wrongful arrest and detention, and products/food borne liability. She also defends owner/operators in commercial trucking matters as well as medical professionals, practices and nursing home organizations in cases of medical negligence and general liability.

Rebecca devotes time to charitable pursuits and since 2015 has been Fellow of the Allegheny County Bar Foundation whose mission is to provide educational and charitable support in activities related to the law. She is a contributor to the firm’s e-notes and lectures on legal topics for a variety of organizations. She serves on the Allegheny County Rules Committee, Public Service Committee and as a co-chair of the Pennsylvania Defense Institute.

In her free time, Rebecca can often be found at sporting events – either cheering on her local professional teams or supporting her nephews’ pursuits in wresting, hockey and football.
