Thomas, Thomas & Hafer is pleased to announce that John M. Malaspina has joined the firm as a partner in the Northern New Jersey (Lebanon, NJ) office.  John will focus his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith, as well as other general liability matters.

John began his legal career in a private practice small law firm.  For the past 37 years, he has been with United Service Automobile Association (USAA) in their New Jersey Staff Counsel Office, where he held the position of Senior Trial Attorney.  In that position, John represented USAA and its members in all aspects of litigation, including numerous trials, arbitrations, hearings, and ADR proceedings.  He has appeared numerous times in the Appellate Division of the New Jersey Superior Court.  His practice has included automobile negligence, premises liability, and other insurance issues.  John has also served as a Court appointed arbitrator in both the Essex and Union County Superior Court.

Remarking on John’s addition to the firm, Jaymie Dodd-o, who leads the Allentown, PA office, stated: “We are extremely excited to have John join us and are confident he will provide our clients with excellent representation in their litigation matters.”
