Thomas, Thomas & Hafer Attorney Chelsea Williams recently secured a victory at the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas Arbitration Center. The case involved a Plaintiff who allegedly slipped and fell due to a “slippery substance” at a commercial property owned by Chelsea’s client.
At arbitration, Chelsea argued that her client was an out-of-possession landlord who was not responsible for the wet substances on the floor, which were created by tenants of the property. Agreeing with Chelsea’s arguments, the arbitration panel entered a verdict in favor of her client and against the Plaintiff.
