On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, TTH Attorneys Daniel Grill and Jillian Denicola won a defense verdict for a family physician in connection with a Lackawanna County medical malpractice action.  The defense verdict came after a seven-day trial.  The case involved a four-year delayed diagnosis of breast cancer, resulting in Stage IV metastatic cancer.

It was alleged that the delayed diagnosis severely shortened the Plaintiff’s life expectancy, while also causing significant past medical expenses and costly projections for future medical care.

Multiple Co-Defendants had settled out of the case prior to Dan and Jillian’s victory at trial.
