Ben represents businesses and individuals in litigation and arbitration arising out of product defects, fires, defamation, construction defects, contractual issues, mechanic’s liens, toxic torts, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability.
Ben devotes a significant portion of his practice to representing property and casualty insurers in litigation and administrative actions throughout Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia involving coverage, subrogation, uninsured/underinsured motorist claims, and fair claim handling practices issues. Ben also advises insurers during their handling of first party property losses and fraud investigations.
In addition, Ben counsels individuals and businesses with regard to a variety general business matters.
Before joining the firm, Ben clerked for the Honorable Robert A. Zarnoch and the Honorable James R. Eyler in Maryland’s Court of Special Appeals.
