Richard C. DeFrancesco

Richard C. DeFrancesco is a partner in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s Ambler, PA office and a member of the Firm’s general liability practice group.  Rich is a trial attorney with twenty years’ experience handling personal injury and insurance denial claims. His practice areas include auto, premises, insurance bad faith, medical malpractice, professional negligence and workers’ compensation. Rich also has appellate experience in both state and federal court, as well as experience with class actions, mass torts, ERISA matters, Dram Shop and Election Law cases.

Rich has served as an arbitrator in Philadelphia County and has arbitrated and mediated cases throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Rich has also been a volunteer for Philadelphia VIP to represent low-income persons on a pro bono basis focusing on mortgage foreclosure alternatives earning nomination to the First Judicial District Pro Bono Honor Roll 2013-2015.

Rich was selected to the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2014 – 2017 and Best Attorneys of America 2015.

Rich is a graduate of the University of Maryland and the Villanova University School of Law.
