Taryn M. Vender

Taryn M. Vender is an associate in Thomas, Thomas & Hafer’s Wilkes-Barre, PA office, where she is a member of both the general liability practice group as well as the workers compensation practice group. Taryn joined the firm in March 2023. Prior to joining the firm, Taryn served as an associate in-house counsel of a local health system for a year and was an associate at another insurance defense firm for over three years.

Taryn graduated from the Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in 2018 on a full scholarship. While in law school, Taryn served as a certified legal intern the Montgomery County Public Defender’s Office and clerked for two summers with the Honorable Thomas Burke at the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas. Immediately following graduation, Taryn clerked for the Honorable Janine Edwards of the Wayne County Court of Common Pleas for two years. She attended West Chester University Class of 2014 where she majored in History with minors in Spanish and Political Science.

Outside of practicing law, Taryn enjoys spending her time with her husband watching the Sixers and the Phillies, cooking, and enjoying Old Forge pizza.
