Thomas, Thomas & Hafer is pleased to announce that Meredith T. Bestland has joined the firm as an associate in the Washington, D.C. office, where she practices in a variety of civil litigation matters.  Before joining Thomas, Thomas & Hafer, Meredith worked as an associate for a law firm practicing civil litigation.  During law school, Meredith worked as an advanced clinical student at the Center for Immigrants Rights, and as a law clerk for the Maryland Office of the Public Defender.

Ben Peoples, one of the firm’s three managing partners, welcomed Meredith to the firm, stating: “We are excited that Meredith is joining our team.  Her strong legal research, writing and analytical skills will be an asset to our clients.”
